    "Engineer Gone Wild " .....

Looks like a candidate for the Ugly Gun Award.

What would be the recoil ?

I've been pondering the design of a dedicated pocket carry revolver for a couple of months, now. I guess they beat me to it? Is it a 4-shot, squared cylinder (looks like they chose 6-shot)?

It's good to see someone attempting to think outside the box and make a gun that is more easily concealed. A built in laser, inline with the bore would be cool too.

6 shot. The cylinder is hex shaped.

The 4, 5, and 6 inch actually look pretty neat but the snubby not so much. The low bore axis will reduce a lot of muzzle flip but what about felt recoil?

I'd like to get my hands on one for a test drive but I don't think I would like the grip.

It kinda looks like a Mateba Unica without the semi-auto feature (it also fired from the bottom cylinder). The 5" looks tempting.

Just did a little reading about this gun and it one of the two designers is the guy who designed the Mateba Unica.

Thanks for that diagram. Looking at it, it seems that the "hammer" isn't actually the hammer? Just a familiar looking device for cocking the actual hammer which appears to be part #110 (or 111 or 138, hard to tell where the lines go)?

If that's true, it would be interesting to see a DAO version which could dispense with a bunch of those parts and have a more compact profile above the beavertail.

I'm always fascinated by anything new or unusual like this. Sure, it's kinda ugly, but it looks different because it is different on a functional level. The engineer in me always appreciates that.

I agree, that low bore axis will probably tame the sharp recoil of the .357 out of that little snubby. I would like to see one up close to see if it is a quality pistol before I plop down cash to be a guinea pig.

I think this debuted at last years SHOT. This year should be interesting and exciting now that the market went from strong & steady to posting historic gains in sales and overall interest.

Umm...why? Why would someone intentionally design something so ugly?
