    Too bad.
    ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

If this is truly what the government is saying, and I doubt that (this is pure political correctness) then the same government that is complaining should immediately FIRE EVERY PERSON THAT OK'D THIS CONTRACT! Or do you think they were given sights without the references to inspect? If this is such a big deal then there are people that need to lose their jobs because they approved it in the first place.

Remove religion from the situation and it remains that there was breach of contract, plain and simple.

Heck. I thought the Military would dump those "contaminated" Trijicons into the civilian market and that we might have the chance to buy them as MIL Rejects. But, it looks like they are not going to replace them and will only obliterate or remove the Bible coded portion.

I noticed that everytime I fired a round using a Trijicon sight it was almost as if the hand of God smited the target

In a effort to make unbelivers happy they are going to offer another
    model scope.

I agree with your premise. If anyone in the .gov purchasing process knew about the references and conspired to include them and the .gov can prove it, they should be fired.

Personally, I doubt anyone knew and even if they did, these things are exceptionally difficult to prove.

    Angry Sick of PC

Hey, I don;t know about you guys, but if I hear one more remark about PC in context with the mid-east rabble, I'll probably heave. A lot safer then sniping.

I'm Jewish and I coujdn't give a "dam" about what these stonage crazies think about the US, it's time to do the job and get out.

I spent waaaay too much time in Nam and all I have are a bunch of scars and nightmares to show for it, along with a bunch of friends' names on the "wall" and un-named stars in a building in McLean.

Why should Obama and his crew care if the guys using the scopes don't.

    Really mad,

Well I am offended that the terrorist yell "allah Akbar" before blowing themselves up. Can I get a ruling that this be stopped "NO". I feel that living in a FREE country that if Trijicon wants to uses XXXXXJN8:16 as part of their serial numbers, Let them. Why would the Marines be offended when I was in Marine Basic our DI's encouraged us to go to church, "*** over". I see nothing wrong with a little help from up above. David got help when he took out Goliath? This makes me want to purchase from them more, besides they make a good product that is tested in the real world. FREE means FREE. THe ACLU offends me but they get to push their agenda, taking prayer and the Pledge of Allegience out of School offends me. This is like telling someone that their hair style offends me. Political Correctness what a crock of @&%#, this is our downfall. Paul even said that thier were Jewish Christians and Gentile Christians. How can he be wrong I guess if he wanted political correctness he would have called us all Christians. This country was founded on Biblical principals. If you believe that is your right if you dont that is your right, I respects everyones right and dont force my beliefs on others that have a diffrent veiw. So why force veiws on a PRIVATE company? Ok just wanted to rant.

But, what if the CEO Maker or founder of a Military Contract item just happened to be heavily into Pagan/Devil worship?

Would devout Christian soldiers get upset if they were issued optical weapon sights that were marked:

    666SATAN-23
    666SATAN-24
    666SATAN-35
    666SATAN-36
    - etc....?

    Just curious.
