Thanks. I could have used a box or two also. And people wonder why ammo can't be found. Did you really need that much, or did you get greedy?

I hear you Retsupt, I'm down here in Tallahassee right now and I'm actually dreading going home since this is the end of my week. Ice and snow are awaiting me on the roads back home, or I could stay here an extra day and break out the shorts and t-shirts. Decisions, decisions...

I cooked chilli-infused Minestrone tonight...beautiful and spicy...yummm...doggie and husband were fully satisfied and gone for seconds. I also did a batch of sourdough scali bread to mop up the plates. I think I overdid the chilli but it's OK...my dogs did not die. And my satisfied husband just brought me a full glass of water here in my pooter. ha! bribery!

I bought a box of .38 hydrashox today. That is it. One box. Oh, and 400 rounds of ball ammo

Hope the storm is mild. The #1 rule of a bad ice storm is stay home and don't drive anywhere. Driving on ice is unbelievably bad and all the crazy drivers end up sliding off the road or hitting each other. Best not to be present.

In all honesty, it is always wise to have a maintain a large supply of essentials at home. Last minute trips such as yours are often of little utility.

I'm about 50 miles due north of Little Rock. We started the morning off with 3/8 inch of solid ice covered by 1/2 inch of sleet. Right now we've got 7+ inches of snow on top of that and supposed to get another 2 to 4 inches before it's over. 1 to 2 inches of snow here is usually considered a blizzard, so, not wish'n any of ya'll bad things, I'm ready for this to move on east. Good luck and ya'll get ready.

You must be a storm newbie. EVERYONE knows you always stock up on rifle calibers with snow / ice storms. Pistol calibers and charcoal are for the summer hurricane events. Nothing says you can't get both but you have to at LEAST purchase twice as much of the "in season" ammo.

Asheville has a lot of snow. I finally hauled off the broken branches from the December 18th storm and found some snow from THAT storm under the debris! Please fast forward me to July. I would rather swat mosquitos instead of shovel snow. John

Can you speak with my wife please? Her number is...... The last 6 boxes I bought were the last ones I have looked for. She is helping me shoot them, but does not seem to like the idea of replacing them. Go figure.
