So all the guns must be coming from Vermont!

    Massholes?

    Alphecca: Now It's Vermont's Fault

There is nothing required nor background checks here for private purchases, I'm curious do most other states require a background check for private purchases or at gun shows?

Criminals travel to Vermont, where gun laws are weaker, to purchase firearms and drive them across the border to sell for a profit, she said.

"It's a pipeline that is really opening up," said Robinson.

There is no waiting period for gun sales in Vermont. Background checks are not required on private gun sales, and police do not maintain gun sale records under Vermont state law....

So all the guns must be coming from Vermont! Oh, wait! Vermont gun dealers run NICS instant checks on all buyers. And you have to show I.D. And if we're talking handguns, someone from Massachusetts can't buy one in Vermont and take it with him. It would have to be transferred to a Massachusetts dealer where there'd be an instant check and they'd (the buyer) have to show their MA license or permit or whatever it is a resident there is required to have.

Maybe it's from Vermont gun shows? You know, that old "loophole"? Except there are only a very few gun shows in Vermont every year and most of those have FFL dealers only in them. Private purchases? Come on! In all these cases (store, gun show, private seller) the gang bangers would have to pay money for their firearm purchase. These ******* mutants don't do that; they break into people's homes or businesses and steal the guns. No waiting period there, either -- except maybe waiting for the homeowner to leave for work
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.

Vermont? Just about 6 months ago these baby wipes claimed all the crime guns were coming from Virginia and the south. Why can't they make up their minds?

Maybe they're working their way up the alphabet... next one will be Utah (you know, because of the Utah permit, right?).

I expect a lot of states don't require background checks on private in-state sales. I'm sure every one of them will be accused of supplying guns to criminals.
