I used the search tool trying to find some info on the Blazer Ammunition, (TMJ) the aluminum cases. But didn't find the answer to my question.
Any Glock owners shoot aluminum jacketed ammo? This is purely for the range. LGS has it for cheap need opinions.

I have sent tens of thousands of Blazer Aluminum rounds downrange in my Glocks. Never a problem. I love the stuff. Used to get it for $3.99 a box at Academy in DFW.
yes, you can shoot it in a glock.
My Glocks love it, from 9mm to .45 to 10mm.

I am pretty sure you cannot reload the empty casings, but other than that they work great in my 9mm Glock.
I suppose they (empty Al casings)could be turned in with the rest of the aluminum being recycled.
I buy the stuff when I train with my duty weapon, my company don't provide ammo for training or practice, (just Qualification) probably spent 3k rds and no problems, but Im still reluctant to use on my personal guns.
I've shot it and found it to be consistent and trouble free and at the cost of just over eight dollars it's a bargan

I had a Glock 21 that absolutely hated the stuff. Fed everything else fine, but frequently failed to feed the aluminum Blazer stuff.Quote:

Most certainly test before you buy a lot. I had a G22 that ate it no problem, and another that hated it.
So after 50 rounds I should know if the gun will take it or not?
I would think so. Keep in mind too, that the Blaser alum case is much more prone to splitting, no matter the gun. It wont hurt your Glock, but it can be a little startling if you notice the split case on the deck.Quote:
