What should be my next gun..

Sadly, like many others, I have went from shooting once a month to once every 6 months due to price..I recently have gotten the urge though to get another gun I really wish I could start over and buy as many guns in the same caliber as possible

I am stuck between two choices...

    Saiga 12

    Sig 522

    My current gun lineup is

    Sig 226 40 S&W
    Ruger LCP .380
    Beretta CX4 9mm
    Remington 870 12ga

I want the 522 for obvious reasons..Sig makes great guns, and .22's are cheap! I really want a Sig 556, but it just seems like it would be far to expensive to enjoy, so I am settling for the 522.

The Saiga 12 is just a bad ass gun in my opinion. 12g shells are every abundant and pretty cheap for target practice and blowing stuff up.

    Any opinions?

Also, my fiance will most likely be buying a Beretta PX4sc in the next few months.

Get a good bolt action rifle. They're made to reach out and touch someone.

Everyone needs a good .22 lr rifle for plinking. The Ruger 10-22 is the most popular, but I will venture to say that an AR style rifle in .22 lr would be even more satisfying.

I see you don't have a GLOCK yet, WTH? j/k

Glocks are just awkward and uncomfortable, and ugly to me. So there is no need to have one :)

I would prefer a AR style 10/22 honestly. Look much better than the boring 10/22s

How about a nice .22 pistol? Something like a Buck Mark or Ruger?

I think Ruger is making an AR, not sure if they've jumped onto the .22 lr AR bandwagon yet...but I do know that there are several kick ass looking stocks and modifications for the 10/22. I think I even saw a kit to transform to 2 10/22's into a hand crank gatling gun apparatus

I'll forgive your negative coment about the GLOCK's looks because you disclosed that it did not fit your hand before you pointed out one of the reasons it is such a great weapon.

I'm not sure, but I think we have someone else who has come down with that dreaded sickness, gun fickle-itis. Hey, you don' always have to have a mission or purpose to buy a gun. Jus get the one you will have the most fun with for now. The important thing to remember, is that once you have contracted gun fickle-itis, you will be buying another one soon anyway. So enjoy!

I've got a Saiga 12, I converted it.. It's pretty fun, the only problem now is the stock sights are too low to use now that I've converted it so I think I'll be adding a red dot..

I've never been impressed with saiga's they're all looks IMHO. My vote is a 10/22 target. Putting 10rds in one hole at 50 yards is fun. I've also been thinking hard about a .17HMR. There wouldn't be a safe cat in the county!
