Anyway the other night I was signing my 11 year old son up for hunters safty courses and complaining that I could not take it with him due to work (already been thru it but like to take with my kids same as bow safty) anyway my wife says to me well I can take it with him and that way I can get my CWP, (I couldnt talk for a minute choked up ya see) boy was I happy to have that conversation, I got her a walther p22 so she can get used to shooting (and then Ill be looking for advice for a recoil sensitive woman) boy was that a good day

Did you get a tear in your eye.... and a big smile across your face ?

    Wow, kudos to her.

Just don't get mad if she 'borrows' some of your ammo in the future... just hand it to her and smile.

well they both passed with flying colors, my wife got a 100 percent on the test and my son missed 3 out of 85, she has never even expressed interest in hunting she was just taking it so she could get her cwp, but now she is already planning our hunting trips and tags. She also wants to try her luck out on gopher hunting which is the funnest time you can have IMO.
