Places to search for particular firearm?

Ok, I have decided I want more than anything for my 40th birthday coming up in May a Browning Hi Power Mark lll in .40. I already own the same gun in 9mm. These are not easily available, at least in my immediate area, and my local store also called their dealer (who is supposed to be the largest in the southeast) who does not have one and does not think they will in the near future.

I have done a couple googles and have yet to find anyone that has one in stock, however I am also a bit leary to get in to lesser known sites that I have not seen regularly mentioned on this site or the couple other gun related sites I frequent. I was burned on the purchase of some magazines from a "tactical supply" site and had to use my bank's credit charge back to get a refund.

Looking for other avenues to explore, reputable online dealers etc. Of course I know about Bud's and Gunbroker, so I am looking for others. I am hoping to find a new one. I know I am pushing it at that but that's what I am looking for. Any help/direction will be much appreciated!

Hyatts thinks they can get in a few weeks, so I placed an order, now it's wait and see. He did say if I found it elswhere in the meantime they'd issue a refund.

There's a local forum Carolina Shooters that has a robust Buy, Sell, Trade section.
You can also post WTB and maybe someone there can help or steer you toward the .40 Browning.
