I just spent the last 20 minutes reading the readers' comments and only got through about 1/4 of them....... WOW! I have never in my life read so many arrogant, ignorant, ill-informed (but obviously well educated) responses.

It would be wonderful to assemble everyone that posted responses to that piece in a room with Dr. Hupp and let her give them a 2 hour education based on her experience in the Luby's Cafeteria down here in Texas. Still wouldn't change very minds though.

wow there are some horrible "logical" arguments in the comments. Can't believe some of the arrogance in the comments.

PS, voted, currently 73% in our favor, 18K+ votes.

WOW after reading some of the posts on there. im amazed half of them lived for as long as they did. I for one will carry inside now. am i worried about being robbed at gun point while eating inside. not really because with this law being passed could you imagine the look on a BG's face when he trys to hold up the place and all of a sudden he see's 20 to 30 people weapons drawn and pointing at him. lol

Originally..... the YES vote was losing badly. It's good it changed around. Really stupid comments on it.

What they all forget is, you are talking about law-abiding and responsible citizens that are 99.9% of all CC holders. They aren't going to change instantly when they walk in a restaurant to eat and happens to also serve alcohol.

Wow... there are some very ill informed people in the comments. I forget the exact stat, but something like half a percent of CHP holders in VA commit any sort of violent crime. That, and people still post in the comments "Time to stop eating out; I don't want lead with my burger"
