    Grip Sleeves

Anyone know what rubber "grip sleeve" is on the Glock on the Blackhawk website? It is the one when you go to Home BLACKHAWK!, then down the page, click "holsters," and it is the grip sleeve on the picture labeled "standard molded." Tried to call Blackhawk several times, but each time they said that they do not know, because they just get them as promotions. Please help, this seems like what I need (tried other ones, but they are not thick enough!). Thanks.

I looked at it and it's hard to tell. What I CAN tell you is that a piece of bicycle innertube cut to length, turned inside-out and slipped onto the grip is a VERY good alternative. I've got 'em on all my Glocks and they look good, fit tight, feel good and best of all, they were FREE!

If one is not thick enough, you could always double 'em up, but I've never felt the need.

While it is hard to beat the free innertube, for $8 you can buy a Hogue slip on. They come in a variety of sizes - both small AND large! -lol

I prefer these to the old innertube because they have palm swells that help lock the gun in your hand.

    Good luck!

How about on an XD pistol that has a grip saftey on them it is hard to put a slip on grip on it without covering the grip saftey ?
