Here's a weird question for ya...

Any one know who or how to make this

    into this

Not asking to change a M&P into a Glock, but how to get the same "paint job" from the Glock to the M&P.

BACK STORY:My wife, who I bought that M&P for, likes pink.... alot. This is why I got her that "Breast Cancer Awareness" pink backstrap M&P 9mm. So a few nights ago, she sent this to my computer, this Glock that is painted ALL pink and said she wants this done to her pistol, and then MAYBE she will get her permit and carry. The only problem I have with this is now, I feel really dorky taking her firearm to the range with me if its THIS pink. But hopefully, I wont and she will.

So all I need, I guess, is to find someone who might know how to make this happen, or figure out how to do it myself and what it costs. Any suggestions??

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Try searching for refinishing and DuraCoat. We have had quite a few threads about refinishing. You will see pink, red, orange, and other colors and names of places that did the work.

Duracoat actually has a Bloomberg line, since he claimed colored guns could be mistaken for toys endangering officers lives etc.

Okay, sorry... I feel like an idiot. This has been beaten to death. Should have done a quick search ( I normally do, just thought this was way too out there). Next time I do something like this, someone just and that should fix it. Thank you, found what I needed, thanks for the info.

hey and if your wife will carry and go to the range regularly on the condition of getting her pistol pink.... I would have it done asap... At least she is willing to take care of herself when you aren't around.

If all that it takes to attract your wife to the gun is color, I'd be having it done ASAP.
My wife does surprise me at times. We sold an item and had several thousand in cash that I wanted to take to the bank.
I couldn't make it and asked the wife to go deposit it. When I met her later, she was had her pistol on her...not something she normally does without me asking.,rant:but I was glad that she thought about SD.

    Here's some "pretty" Glocks:

Check out http://www.duracoat-firearm-finishes.com/ for custom finish ideas.

Also http://www.jimsgunsupply.com/DuraCoa...tpictures.html is a good site for ideas.

Maybe ask questions to these folks about annodizing stainless steel. It's one of the few places I've seen that does it. Maybe ask for some pictures of completed work.

Its funny you mentioned that one, because last night after I found Jims Gun Supply she found this one:

Its "rose" or something. She likes it better than the "baby pink." Says "baby pink is too girly for a gun. I will probably use Jims to get it done and her M&P will look something like this.
