    Man if it is like oil, it will go thru the roof, a while back there was a "threat" on a oil pipeline in the middle east, and oil prices went up..

    If brass experiences a shortage, there is always the possibility of buyback or tradein schemes for used brass recycling. It might get more expensive for awhile but in the long run market pressure will even things out, either at the ammunition manufacturer level (with buybacks/recycling) or at the raw material level.
