1. Definitly "Heat" . Nothing like the sound of shorty class 3 colt rifles paying their dues! Pretty realistic too.
2. Unrealistic but the pump shotty work that Wahlberg puts in at the warehouse in Max Payne.

If you're going to carry one weapon, might as well carry two, because as the saying goes, "Two is one, and one is none."
"Liberals can decline or whine, but I will still carry and conceal mine." - Cold Warrior. Excellent quote good sir!
I enjoyed all the gun fights in "The Way of the Gun"...mainly the last one in the Hotel.

"Shotgun bullets are bad for your health"

Well, it's gotta be by Peckinpah.
"Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia"
Almost any shootout in that movie, but especially the one at the end.
I like the finale in Hombre. Short, violent, realistic. Very un-Hollywood.
"I would like to know his name"
Pretty much every battle in movie Tombstone. But the gunfight at the river tends to stand out the most.
Three-man cemetery showdown near the end of "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly".
Oh, yeah! "The Quick and The Dead" too!
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

The climatic extended gunfight at the end of "Open Range" with Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall has to be somewhere near the top. Costner and Duvall are driving cattle across Kansas and are badly abused by an Irish landowner who runs everything in town. It's fun watching them get even.
"You have to answer for Santino, Carlo. You fingered Sonny for the Barzini people."
