Heres the deal
Right now I'm torn between buying a a smaller handgun for CCW or buying a .22 for plinking.
I already own an FNP 40 and as much as I love shooting it, feeding it is rather expensive.
I have it narrowed down to the LCR for CCW or a Walter P22 for plinking.
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks in advance

The Walther P22 is a great plinking pistol. 10 rounds go fast at the range so I have 8 mags. I usually load up before I go.
The P22 is a 3/4 version of the P99. Hardly any recoil. I keep it clean and replace the recoil spring about every 2,500 rounds. I like the 3.4" barrel but there is an interchangeable 5". I bought it for my wife but since I shoot much more than she does, I kind of took it over.
I sell them too. GunsAndSupply.com Home

I have both. The P22 really is great for plinking. The LCP is a good (small) CC gun, but it is not very pleasant to shoot -- you won't be putting a couple hundred rounds through it in an afternoon at the range! If you want quality time at the range, go with the P22.

The p22 is a great little plinker. I use it out back with a gemtech outbackII suppressor on it and nobody's the wiser. My only gripe is the typical walther breakdown gripes...pita to field strip and clean.
Of course they couldn't go and follow KISS like a standard 1911 or a Glock.
