My vision is facing a few challenges and I need all the help I can muster.
so I did what I do in the end to all my firearms: I cover as much as I could with Glow-On Self Adhesive.
Cut a small piece of self adhesive.
Place against the gun sights and with a pencil I draw a profile on the back side.
Cut the piece with the help of a X-acto knife and scissors.
Important: Remove the adhesive layer with alcohol and a paper towel.
Use Super Glue Gel to finally set the glow in the dark material.
Of course you can do the same with the paint if you like to use paint.
Anyways here are the results. Cool!
Finally, a shooter's view in the dark.
What's not to like? I ask.
At the range we find it a lot easier to align a firearm with the sights fully covered. Of course they don't seem to glow under the light at the range but they are highly visible all the same.
I'll be the first one to admit this solution is not something one sees in other firearms.
But...If you want out of the ordinary results, be prepared to do out of the ordinary things..
There's always room for improvement
