LOL. Okay, my favorite so far is the radioactive sign.
In all seriousness, the first thing that most trespassers do is tear off the sign. I'm still required to keep re-posting on some properties, but in general I've learned to save my money.

This by far is the best option. Signs, even with good intentions, can get you in trouble;
Example: you put up a "beware of dog" sign, the kid next door enters your fenced in yard and gets bit by your dog. You get sued and loose because by posting the "beware of dog sign" you admit that your dog is dangerous, vicious and any other term the lawyer throws out.
You say BS? this is a true case that happened many years ago in Colorado. Your best option is to check with your local LE and discus what can be done. I think the sign recommended by gasmity is your safest option, the hard part will be getting LE in your area to come when you call and cite the offenders. Id install a gate.
Timid people sleep peacefully at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Get a regular decent sign that reads "No Trespassing" Sometimes simple is the best.
"I dislike death, however, there are some things I dislike more than death. Therefore, there are times when I will not avoid danger" Mencius"
"All trespassers please notify next of kin"
"Caution! Shooting range backstop area. No personnel admitted without clearance from Range Master"
"County Sewage Treatment Facility --> 1/4 mile ahead, job applications available"
"Beware of Peacocks"
Just get a solar powered alarm that goes off when someone walks down your road. A LOUD one. Or just get some peacocks. They are loud, territorial, and mean! Seriously.

NO TRESPASSING! Unless you can do it in 1.5 seconds.
(my Angus bull can do it in 1.8)

Either you are a weapon and your gun is a tool or your gun is a weapon and you are the tool.
