I think it's nice, that my dog allows me to sleep on part of the bed. I truly think that's how she sees it.

My pack, guarding the coutch. From port to starbord, Rebel the red-nosed pit, Baily (huskey-lab mix), and the boss-momma Shasta, a shepard-akita mix. All rescues and all spoiled rotten. They are VERY good at keeping watch while I'm deployed.....and even better at soliciting hugs from the neighborhood children.

Ya'll are making me want to get a dog.

Several years ago we had two outside dogs, both Catahoula Curs with deep blue glass eyes. If a stranger drove up, the two dogs would go check out the car and driver. Typically the driver would see those "eyes" looking at him and would not get out of the car.

I love my dog too & my dog is now crippled and walking on three legs after the groomer got pissed off at her and tore the ligaments in her knee.

I'd tell the whole story but, I don't want to hijack this thread.
