I have all three. I have my SIG P250c with 147gr Ranger Ts on my night stand. I have my AR with tac light with 30 round mag of Hornady 75 gr hollow points, and a Mossberg tactical with light and 00 buck shot with additional 00 buck in the carrier. My first reach is for the shotgun or AR due to the fact it's just me and my wife so I don't have to clear any rooms.

My choice would be a 20 inch shotgun but at this point it will be a 9MM handgun cause thats what I got!

10.5" AR or the handgun I'm carrying if I'm not in the bedroom or office.

I choose handgun so I always have 1 hand free to phone 911, hold a flashlight or fight off bg ect.

If I'm in the bedroom its a Judge with 000 buck... Other rooms would be a FNX40 with laser...
My favorite is still my Mossberg 500 desperado, but my new AR M&P15 Sport is gonna probably steel that title once I can get it to the range and become familiar with the platform and its operation.
