New Years plans.New guns,moving,home reinforcement...
I would like to share the beginning stages of my plans that i will hopefully get rolling with by January.
It starts with me finishing up work here in Atlanta this year and moving back home to N Ga and getting away from gang-related problems.I know some of you have seen the movie I Am Legend,so just imagine those steel windows on my house.
I bought another TRP,minus a rail. But i have figured out a fix for not needing a light: Leave all the lights on at night except in my bedroom, and just close the door.
Here is where it gets interesting: I was looking through Simply Rugged's website and found something i did not notice before.A magazine holder. That holds 8 magazines. When that gets in,i hope its comfortable, because i can have a total of 63 rounds with me for $40! I do have my Smith .500 for any large 4 legged threats in the mountains, and i keep that locked in my truck.
I also have my Benelli M2 with tritium ghost rings,a surefire light and a $10 'bandolier' that holds 20 shells.I will keep that in my truck when im out,and bring them inside at the end of the day.So i will always have at least 25 12 gauge shells, 63 .45 cartridges, and about 25-30 rounds .500 S&W.
Not to mention the thousands of other rounds that stay locked in a safe.
All of these are reliable, fun to shoot and do their job.Just figured i would share what has been exciting me for a few days.

Well, I guess if you run into the Hell's Angels, you have enough ammo.
All I usually have with me is a Glock-36 (6 + 1) and one extra mag...(2 extra mags if going to Jax or Orlando).
Good luck with the move!
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Just out of curiosity, what made you move there in the first place?
Steel plates over windows and 63 rounds of ammunition on your body, in your own home, is solid evidence that you need to get out.

I was 18 and ready to leave home.I wanted to move to the city where more people=more customers=more profit for business.I do love Atlanta, especially her beauty at night. But i got involved with the wrong people and we had a business falling out.Now i have to deal with gang retaliation.
8 years later,im getting my sense and going back home to be with some old friends.Im country at heart and need my farm at the end of a long road.
By the way,the steel windows come later. My current home is not that gifted.
