This is not the only one

    see: http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...cuse-shot-down

Police said they didn't knock because they knew the Bellottes had concealed-carry permits and they feared a violent reaction. The court said that wasn't sufficient to justify a no-knock entry.

Very few details in the other article, from what I get from the article, they DID NOT have a -NO KNOCK- warrant SIGNED BY A JUDGE. In the Utah incident in this thread, a Judge SIGNED a no knock warrant for them.

It all depends on whether or not the law supports your actions, it appears that in WV it did not.
    In Utah it certainly did.

No knock warrants are unconstitutional, period. This shooting was unjustified and the trigger happy cop is the real criminal here.

And for anybody who thinks no knocks are ok, well, lets hope they never make a mistake and knock down your door. If they shoot and kill you or a family member as you go for a gun to protect against a home invasion, I hope you still feel they're ok as you bleed out.

So what part of this has to deal with home defense?
