    Had to have "lucky" my Chocolate lab put down July 3rd,one of the hardest things I have ever done,she was 13.I will be ready to go to the shelter sometime in the near future and see if I can find another mutt that needs a good home.I feel your pain

    I am very sorry to hear that. My sympathies. I love my dogs and have lost two in the last 12 months.

    Been there; done that. The most painful decision I ever had to make. Probably the real reason I haven't had another dog since. You have my sympathies.

    I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like your dog had a great 14 years of life and though incredibly hard, you did the right thing to end his pain.

    Very sorry for your loss...
    Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

    My condolences. I've had the experience several times and will again. It's never easy but you can feel good knowing you provided a loving home.
