Ok, I'm moving to a new house soon (I hope!), and the previous owners had a very basic setup that wasn't monitored. Since I'm going to have to upgrade the system or hook up a land line, I'm looking to find out what company has the best reputation for a monitored system. I know that ADT has taken over Brinks. The house is near Phoenix if anyone has a local recommendation.

The company that has the best response time from police is Sonitrol. By no means cheap but about the best system out there. Audio monitoring is just about false alarm proof. Some of their best dealers are in central Florida.
