All day every day.

Yes-I don't disarm once arriving home. My 75% EDC is a 642 in a pocket holster, so I'll even carry the snubbie in PJ pants, gym shorts or sweats (I always make sure to buy them with front pockets deep enough for this specific purpose). I can use the pistol or revolver to get to my rifle or shotgun if needed. I don't have guns placed around the house-my kids are 13 and 15, and while they are firearm safety savy, I can't speak for their friends and don't need that issue.
My hypervigilant German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix also gives me plenty of warning when someone walks near my house, so I'm never caught by suprise when someone comes to the door.
Cheers!

I carried every day for 18 years at my job.....saved me twice but sort of wore me out carrying to some degree. At times I actually viewed it as a nuesance.
Don't carry all the time at home either but something is always within reach.
I carry at ALL times. Well, not in the shower--but it's over on the vanity if the SHTF!
Still don't but make sure the wife locks the door![]()
If I'm up, I'm armed. If I'm in bed, it's on the nightstand.

My conceal carry permit is only four months old, and I have only carried a few times. I find that as time passes, I carry more frequently, and I enjoy the reassurance of having my Beretta on me. Home or out and about.
Yes, my carry gun is sitting right next to me right now on the couch.

No, but my house is very well secured, and I can have a gun in my hand within seconds from any place I am. I am not naive enough to say no one could break in, but it would be noisy enough I would have plenty of reaction time. My easy chair has a nifty flip up arm with a hidden compartment which keeps a gun close.
I believe you have to be able to relax at some point. I have to be able to leave the street outside where it belongs.
"Clearly that's a YOU problem not a ME problem."
I've always got something in arms reach.
I would rather die standing up than live life on my knees.
I always carry when at home. My normal carry set up at present is a XDm 3.8 45acp and a 340pd. When I get up in the morning both go on me. In the evenings if I am lounging around in basketball shorts or sweats I will just carry the 340pd. Five rounds of .357 magnum should buy me enough time to get to something bigger if its still needed at that point.

No I don't , but I know where there are some at all times. Never answer the door with out seeing who is there . While going to the door I have a S&W MP 40 in my hand.
Rarely, although always have one close by.
We live in a condo pretty high up. Only one entry point unless they climbed building and entered balcony. With layout I don't. Once we move into a house I'd probably reconsider. Not saying one is safer than other. Just with current size and layout, I feel my current setup works.
