One of two home intruders shot by homeowner

The title of this article is a bit misleading. This occured about a mile from where I live...crap.

The (ignorant) reporter wanted to know if the homeowner had a CPL which is moot, since the shooting occurred in the home. As long as the gun was "registered" with the local PD, he should be good to go.

Too bad the other BG got away.

The reporter had to get that jab in about the permit. I suppose it would make for more exciting news reporting if the home owner were chopped up with an axe.

Well, the homeowner had to carry the gun to shoot it at the intruders, so he would have to have a carry permit, right?

A lot of reporters are dumbells, and don't know, that they don't know.

This is what I call a "Too Bad 2-Fer"...one got away, and the one he shot is still breathing (so the wounded dirtbag can continue on with his career).

Center of Mass is not in the leg area! Now we'll have to listen to the BG telling how he was walking down the street minding his own business when the homeowner came out and forced him into the residence and shot him.

Pretty much everywhere within bus service of Detroit is getting bad. I'm in Ferndale where just a few years ago you could walk downtown at 2am without a worry, now I walk with two 40 cal SIGs on my person. I'm ready to move up north... Very up north.

Maybe the reporter should've asked if the BG's asked permission or rang the doorbell before smashing the window to get in . The BG is lucky he got popped in the leg.
Why?? Because at the last second, the Police are minutes away.

Maybe the BG will have a change of life and limp to becoming a Good Guy.

Good for the home owner, but needs to remember that everybody who deserves a first round should have seconds and maybe more until they are full.

More details. Appears that the homeowner, who is a bail bondsman, was able to get 3 rounds off. We all know how fluid and dynamic these types of situations are so I'm okay with the fact that he "only" hit one of the BG's in the leg, even though the homeowner was probably, at most, 25' away from his moving "targets".

I hired the landscaper guy who was interviewed for this article. A lot of the work he does is local, so it's nice to know he's armed.

BTW, this town has NOT gone to the dogs...yet.

It looked like a nice neighborhood in the video. Nice looking homes. Skells often go to nice neighborhoods to do bad things. Typical ignorant comment by the liberal media.

Believe me, it IS a nice neighborhood but I'm not naive enough or in denial to think that this kind of stuff can't happen here, which why I'm "sufficiently protected".
