This will be a huge paradigm shift for armed Wisconsin-er's (?), cheese head's (?), as it relates to self/car/home defense. No offense, but what/how do you in WI refer to yourselves?

Took WI a while to catch up, but seems like they are making quick work of doing so. Glad to hear there's another free state in the union! Now... if I can just get my entire family to move out of the last communist-run state...

I would believe that the idea that retreating from your property, not confronting the criminal or not just letting them have their way was a twisted Liberalesque attempt to "lower" shootings during crime. You know if you can't shoot someone busting into your home, then nobody gets hurt. Really?
Well their idea that the law abiding homeowner would be the criminal when shooting and possibly killing a perfectly good home invader anyhow. They sure hate it when you monkey with their reasoning and go ahead and make those Castle Doctrine laws that will make the streets run red with blood.
It's about time the law stays on the side of the law abiding and makes the consequences of a criminal activity null and void for the victim and dumps it squarely right where it should be, on the criminal.

Well I have to agree, longtime coming and they pass Minnesota in less than 6 months. If Walker gets recalled tell him to move to Minnesota, then we can send Dayton to Wisconsin.

I am very happy that this passed. I have had no issues with people trying to get into my place, but if someone ever does come to do me harm it is one less thing I have to worry about.
We used to have a duty to retreat and that just made me scratch my head. It's my home, my doors are locked, why should I have to run and hide?
