Do you get the local paper and how is it delivered?

This ol' gal went out to the yard to get hers... Two thugs pull up, take her into the house at gunpoint, remove her jewelry, ransack the house for 45 minutes. Hope they catch 'em.

    Rats!
    It could be worse!
    I suppose

Snail mail, 1, 2, or 3 days after printing. Therefore all news is old news !!

We just had a ring of burglars that were delivering the morning paper busted. They would drop one or two off in a neighborhood, make the paper deliveries while the one or two others were breaking into cars, then pick them up at the other side/end of the local route.

In the driveway - unless I forget to tip at Christmas time. Then it lands in the flower bed for the next year.

Same. One day I came home from a business trip and saw a stack of newspapers on my lawn, despite my having requested in writing that my newspaper delivery be suspended during my absence. I cancelled my subscription that day and have read news on the Internet every day since then.

I think my newspaper carrier changed monthly and my paper was chronically in the ditch, late, or non-existent.

A couple of thugs showing up about that time, would have actually been therapeutic.

Newspaper subscription permanently cancelled long ago = my mood better.

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

We don't get the paper or even have a TV. Internet for me. Usually FoxNews and a local site or two. And this site isn't so bad for getting news either. :)

Delivery 5 days a week, & I always have a look-see before I open the door. I pick up at a street corner box the other two days - delivery prices will be the death of the newspaper.
