We just had a ring of burglars that were delivering the morning paper busted. They would drop one or two off in a neighborhood, make the paper deliveries while the one or two others were breaking into cars, then pick them up at the other side/end of the local route.

Same. One day I came home from a business trip and saw a stack of newspapers on my lawn, despite my having requested in writing that my newspaper delivery be suspended during my absence. I cancelled my subscription that day and have read news on the Internet every day since then.

A couple of thugs showing up about that time, would have actually been therapeutic.
Newspaper subscription permanently cancelled long ago = my mood better.

We don't get the paper or even have a TV. Internet for me. Usually FoxNews and a local site or two. And this site isn't so bad for getting news either. :)

Delivery 5 days a week, & I always have a look-see before I open the door. I pick up at a street corner box the other two days - delivery prices will be the death of the newspaper.
