But for sun reason my wife doesn't show the dog the same love she doesn't care to have her I' know she will protect her and my kids when I'm not home but I dont want my wife to find out like this that the dog will always protect them no matter what... But every day when my dog sees us she is happy as can be and I love her no matter what...

I know you all have probably heard this but it is the absolute truth that our dogs loves us more than our wives do. If you need proof do this: lock them both in the truck of your car for four hours. After returning and opening the truck, see which one will be happy to see you. My bet is the dog.
