The news report I heard said that he came home and they were already inside and then confronted him with a gun and tied him up. It didn't say if he knew there was something wrong before he went inside unarmed. The bad guys tied him up and left him alone fortunately, and he was able to make it to his "panic button" whatever that means. A more complete story would be nice, but now days they are in such a hurry to be the first to get the story out, they start reporting before they have all the info to report. Kind of annoying.

Close enough for me. A long time ago I lived in the Renton Highlands, and know that Newcastle is basically next door. The news report I originally posted from said Renton, but I've seen them do that so many times. They've datelined it Seattle for Tukwila or SeaTac (probably because rarely anyone outside of the area knows where those are).
