It's pronounced: Juh-ron...don't ask. But if you really want to know why anyone would name one of their keeids Kereim Jwron, it has to do with the influences and mindset of black, ghetto culture, low expectations (for your offspring) and a whole lotta' ignorance. I could go on, but I'm fairly certain that I'm probably borderline already.

Well obviously Gecko 45 and his highly trained mall Special Response Team are busy outside the country doing a black op.

If I had the cash to buy a pair of $1800 sunglasses, I'd buy 3 new Glocks or 1 new Super Carry instead.

Some of these posts make me uncomfortable.

I saw that too. First off, I had no idea they could run that much and secondly talk about painting a target on your face.

Don't think this is a recent phenomenon. Less than a decade ago, malls began to be places where the gangs, criminal element and others found to be a great place to persue their occupation.

The Town Center Mall in Charleston, WV was the scene of a gang shooting inside the place a few years ago, so I don't think the crime rate is up, I just think the criminals are finding it easier to find prey.

The openess, the crowds, makes it easy to do the deed and then disappear into the mix of people.

    Crime rate up at malls
IMO, they're contemporary society's "watering holes," where the unaware/unprepared are most prevalent, and where merchandise and a selection of decent cars can be found. I'm surprised that violent attacks, 'jackings and the like don't occur with far greater regularity.

I doubt I'd be allowed to post how I'd pronounce it.

The most expensive sunglasses that I can find on Cartier's website are in the $800 - $900 range. I wonder if the stolen pair were valued at $1800 for insurance purposes?

"Insurance purposes"?? Puhleze. Most of these folks don't insure their homes or vehicles (even though it's the law). Let me re-state that, they insure their vehicles to obtain their license tabs, then cancel their policy.

$1800 or $800, it's still typical ghetto behavior/culture...can you say "bling"?
