Oh OK The wife would know. Hubby's humor can be extra dry at times too and he gets the same until he sticks his tongue out at me and signals he is kidding. So I say to you what I say to him, "Yeah, you got me."

Just printed some concert tickets and saw this thread. A little after three p.m. and my EDC is on my hip.

Yep thats close to how mine looked when I posted the question except on the left side. A month ago It may have been upstairs or on my bar... I guess my caution level has changed.

Right in front of me as I type this reply. One of my guns is usually within reach when I'm not working.

You folks must live in some rough neighborhoods. I'd say my chances of a home invasion where I live is less than a 2nd heart attack, this time fatal, and way less than getting creamed by a Mack truck on my Harley.

At the time noted in the upper left hand corner of this post, my EDC is on my hip about 4:00. Most of the time it's there... When I'm in bed it's still there, only my hip isn't (the gun is in it's holster on my pants next to the bed. Bedside table is open, and the bedside gun is there. The .45 is on my wife's side of the bed in her bedside table.
    Rats!

There were some folks recently in Maquoketa, Iowa... no scratch that, in the rural area North of Maquoketa, Iowa who thought that way, too... Hubby went out to the garage to check on a noise... He got shot for his trouble... Story Here

Try reading DC's own In the News: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly...

<edit to add> oh, and last I was in "In the news" there were two incidents in NC.... HMMMM.
