Reason I ask is because I have caught myself being much more tactical in the home than I have been in the past. I used to be fairly comfortable just putting my carry gun on my bar next to my keys until bed time then bringing it up stairs with me. But lately I have been getting in the practice of keeping it closer all the time. Is it the new's or is it reading about all the like minded people on here and how they do things?

Sitting on couch with my wife watching Around the World in 80 Plates on demand.

Glock 17 Gen 4 is on end table 2 feet to my left, round chambered and gun holstered.

    No kids so no worries.

edc is to the right of my keyboard, 12 ga is to the left leaning up against my desk. Of course there's more, but not that would get used in SD.

My Glock 30 is wedged in the couch cushion beside my leg. My PJ knife is in my right front pocket.

Here @ 2:22 in the A.M., my G23 is properly seated in my Crossbreed holster/belt combo that's on my hip. I didn't notice until now but there's also a Galco holster with two (full -1) mags, just beyond an arm's reach.

It's out partying but I don't worry. It's the designated driver.

Just got out of the hot tub, and after drying off, picked up my Mossberg 500 shorty and carried it with me to the table, so I could read this thread and type this to you.

It is right beside me. Always.

Um appreciate the response... but I didn't need to read the hot tub and drying off stuff. j/k But seriously you carry your shotgun around at home? Not judging this is the reason I started the question.
