Always open but my kids doors are shut. Sometimes our door closes but after a solid 2 minutes it opens back up ;-)
Heavy sleeper so at night the door is closed and locked, if they pass the security lights, cameras, alarm sensors, dog and then my bedroom door they gotta be James Bond like or extremely crafty.....
I leave mine open. If it's closed, it is harder to hear anything going on in the house.

Closed for privacy, the Border Collies are on the bed with us. If anything happens, they wake up.

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

Open with a lab roaming about. She usually waits for us to go to sleep before she heads into the den to sleep in the recliner she is not allowed on. She is going to catch it some day when mama wakes up before I do....Also have alarm on all the openings.
