My neighbors don't know. They might have guessed if they've seen me walk my pelican case to my car with my green ammo can, but I don't talk to them about it.

Same here, plus you can see my 300-500 meter target berms & targets from the road, there are Google earth shots that show my range. I’ll often have 3 or 4 friends over and we’ll practice IDPA COFs.

Come to think of it, my 80 acres is probably only a few steps away from being declared a “compound”.

In the sticks, I don't sweat it.

The neighbors across the street from me are hunters, NRA members, the homeowner is a CCW holder as well. So I have engaged conversation about certain things. We never say what we have or how much of this or that. We just know who can watch our back when the zombies walk down the street.

by the way, i am from Toledo OH, and going back there a few years ago...I would tell nobody that I had firearms. No offense but some of the area gave me bad vibes but I have no idea what neighborhood it was.

    I don't hide it and I don't advertise it.

But... I sometimes do political ranting (pro 2A) on Facebook, so those folks must think I'm armed.

Only the closest neighbor (friend) knows the other don't need to know. I surely would not tell new people in the neighborhood. IMHO.

If two people know, it's not a secret. EDC night and day, 24/7.
No. Not ever. If asked it's a heart monitor.

    The UPS guy knows...

UPS: "What's in this box, a load of bricks?"

Me: "No. 700 rounds of ammo."

I had to repair my mailbox post after the mailman crammed 500 rounds of 230 LRNS in it.

I live in a small town in Alabama, I would bet that over 80% of the households have guns

    do your neighbors know

Years ago we bought SA. All berdan primed. The ups guy was not happy!

Then several years later we got the Greek .06 not happy again

No ammo lately but they hate tires
