The neighbors across the street from me are hunters, NRA members, the homeowner is a CCW holder as well. So I have engaged conversation about certain things. We never say what we have or how much of this or that. We just know who can watch our back when the zombies walk down the street.
by the way, i am from Toledo OH, and going back there a few years ago...I would tell nobody that I had firearms. No offense but some of the area gave me bad vibes but I have no idea what neighborhood it was.

But... I sometimes do political ranting (pro 2A) on Facebook, so those folks must think I'm armed.
Only the closest neighbor (friend) knows the other don't need to know. I surely would not tell new people in the neighborhood. IMHO.
