Is The Department of Homeland Security giving up...their guns? Or just recommending how to defend myself after they take mine away? How can they so easily ignore & consistently avoid the most obvious solution? And how can "they" continue to do what "we" don't WANT?

My mom told me not to run around with scissors many years ago. She never led me wrong.

Those look like evil black scissors. Next thing you know, they will be limiting scissors to 2 blades. Ugh.

If you want to really get serious you should get those deadly assault pinking shears.

I had to watch a very similar video at work late last year and couldn't help but shake my head through the entire thing.

I heard that Crimson Trace is capitalizing on this advice

If it gets out of hand, they'll start banning assault scissors

There's no legitimate hunting purpose for scissors, how dare they recommend such a weapon...

That's as helpful as being told to hide under your desk at school in case of a nuclear attack.

That was about 50% good info. The other 50% taught you how to be a good (dead) sheeple.

We're supposed to lock our doors and hide.

I do have a good Leatherman with a sharp 3 inch blade at work though!

I am not allowed to carry at work, but would likely forego the scissors option and grab any of the multitude of chainsaws, sledgehammers, machetes, pick axes or regular axes off the shelf.

As bad as it is to be told to fight with scissors, I still bet that the people who made that video were laughing also. Nobody can possibly think this is a good plan. Until I can get scissors with an M203 tube mounted under the blade, it aint gonna happen.

if only there was a some kind of weapon that would be more effective than scissors against an armed assault. maybe some kind of projectile weapon. someone should look in to that.
