    Going on a trip

Looks like i will be meeting the TSA Goons tomorrow morning. I am flying 500 miles to drive 2000 miles with my dad, then flying home. Found a away to loop the cable around the frame in the suitcase, it will at least slow down a dedicated baggage smasher/thief.

    I've got that same case.

Print out a copy of their website concerning the transport of guns. You will find that not all TSA agents know/operate under the same guidelines.

Don't know which carrier you will be flying, but in my experience, US Airways and Southwest are about the easiest to fly with your guns. I have heard incredible horror stories about United.

No problem. Got there 1/2 hour before flight, southwestners attached a tag to lock box without opening, and I saw my suitcase get loaded from my seat. Showed. A little patience and did t load it u til I was in the car
