Nope, no peepholes. I can see outside both doors through windows without standing anywhere near them.

I have a video doorbell and intercom unit. It is motion activated so it takes a picture whenever it detects someone by the door. They are welcome to try to stand back or stand off to the side of the door but so far I've been able to see everyone.

our new house has a storm door and inside it allows me to stand around the corner in either the kitchen or hallway while asking ID. i'll have to see if there is another way i can look but i don't think so.

the wife knows to stand away from the door and ask, especially at night, especially when we aren't expecting anyone, and definitely have a weapon.

Lights off on the other side..... no way for anyone to know or be able to tell if I'm using it. Besides that, anyone on the other side already has the "message" , with my 3 dogs barking and raising cane,.....

Question, you open your door while behind it ? I never do..... old habit, I open it from the side..... anyone can shoot you before you get the door fully open if you are opening it by standing behind the door.

I always stand to the side of the door and question the person knocking. unless I'm expecting the person who answers I try to not stand in front of the door.
