Not until I hit the rack, then it's on my nightstand.

I actually arm myself when I get home. I work in a chemical plant, as just as most do, they prohibit firearms on the property and do routine searches quite frequently. I have a very good hiding spot in my truck, so as I pull into work, the XD goes into hiding and so far has never been discovered. As soon as I get home and change clothes, the XD goes into the safe, and the Kimber goes on the hip. This process gets repeated daily.
Now when not going to work, the Kimber is on the hip at ALL times.

Carry until bed then put it in the holster attached to my night stand. Always within reach.

I stay armed. Might swap what I have depending on what I'm wearing.

Yes... Have a 1 year old running around and he likes to mess around with my gun/holster if it is on my hip.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

If loose gun laws are good for criminals why do criminals support gun control?
