Wow sounds like a great training tool, it's refreshing to see your department so eager about training. Wish I could attend a CCW course like that, but that is a bit of a trip for me. Good luck.

I'd be interested, although I'm not gonna be home in the fall (I will be for a few weeks this summer).

Sounds a lot better than most of my days at work.

My day yesterday seemed pretty cool, at least until I heard about this?

HKinNY, I'm game, let me know when and if I can make it I'd love to go. I live in Delaware, so if your going to run the PA Turnpike out to Ohio I'm just a little out of the way.

    Sounds great SIXTO!

It sure would be fun to get to train on a course like that, hope it goes well for you Thursday. Is it possible to get video of your demo?

No on the video, most of us are narcotics officers and I'm sure everybody isnt going to want to mask up because I want to video.

i like it - it's always nice to hear about departments thinking outside the box on training. the clays and chalk are a nice touch too, especially with the concept of training officers in engaging moving targets. a thought - if your department does any training on difficult shots like hostage situations, long pistol shots, etc., why not fill two same color or similar color balloons with blue chalk in one, red in the other for some extra effect?

you're right, though, sounds like a great day on the job! let me know how it goes.

    regards.

Sixto, (1) Sounds like you have a great job! (2) Your course sounds awesome; and (3) I'd really like to take the advanced CCW course when you get it set up and scheduled. I'm just up I-75 a ways from you. Let us all know when you get it scheduled and when we are able to sign up. Thanks in advance.
