    Today

Today, when you are having your cookout with friends and family, take the time to say a prayer for those who gave their lives so you could do this. They will never eat another meal or drink a drink. They will never hold or kiss a loved one. They lie resting in fields throughout this country, and around the world. Many lie in unmarked grave, in foreign land where their bodies were never recovered or on the bottom of the oceans. They paided to ultimate price for our freedom. God Bless our fallen Soldiers, Sailor and Airman. May they and their families have eternal peace.
Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

AMEN...and for goodness sakes, don't forget the our POW/MIA's...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Remember them on lots of other days, too!
