academy here I come!

I just completed my first day of testing for the Virginia Beach PD. I passed both the written and the physical. I'm really excited about it. We also had the B-pad so now I've got to wait for my results for my b-pad!

The only thing I can think of starts with the letter B and rhymes with itch.

While I can certainly understand why someone going into the Academy would need a B-pad, I think of it as the leather patch on the rear fender of a Harley. It's where the lady rides. On my scoot she has to ride the hard metal fender and wrap her legs around me, as I don't have passenger pegs.

Also, don't you need to complete a Psych Evaluation and Background Check before you go to the Academy? Around here the written and the physical agility test, read push-ups, sit-ups and running, are used to disqualify applicants. After that comes the Oral Board and subsequent stuff before being offered a JOB.

Yeah I still have the background check, interview, and then if those go well the med and psych eval. But I'm gonna make it! :)
