Friends of Immigration Law Enforcement
The Friends of Immigration Law Enforcement (FILE) is a volunteer association of hundreds of attorneys, researchers, law enforcement officers, legislators, and others working on behalf of Americans to ensure that immigration law is being enforced. Founded in 2002 in New York, FILE established headquarters in Washington, DC in 2003.
FILE is non-profit and non-partisan. Our members are united solely by a common concern over the widespread disregard for U.S. immigration law.
FILE assists in filing lawsuits and complaints and helps Americans who have been harmed by our government\'s failure to enforce immigration law.
FILE assists in drafting legislation, filing briefs, advocating for America\'s law enforcement community, and providing expert testimony.
