    Cadences at Police Academy?

I was going to give the back story, but I don't feel like it now

So here is my question for the peace officers out there: did you guys sing cadence in the academy? Also, did the instructors wear campaign hats?

Just a little curious. Thanks for the info

    I'm not an LEO.

However, I do know that our local academy uses cadence extensively.

OTOH, our local academy does advise ex-military to check with the instructor before calling out a cadence from the military -- esp. from those from the USMC.

After all the academy is mixed company and they are running in public.

Singing cadence's while running is a great way to build cardio.

Not a LEO, but I've done my time singing cadence. I hated it.

Let me run in peace, let me run in violence, but don't surround me with a bunch of bellowing boots in a fog of halitosis.
