Dashcam video being reviewed by Ohio investigators shows a police chase ending with a crash, then a suspect and officers in an exchange of gunfire.
The man pursued, 22-year-old Ricky Diamond Jr., was killed in Tuesday's gun battle in central Ohio's Union County. Three sheriff's deputies have been placed on leave amid the investigation.

I thought it was a pistol grip shotgun.
Seemed hard to tell what the BG was using.

You may be right. On second viewing the barrel looks too big for a rifle.

I know where your coming from, sixto. I'd say most of the public is curious about what you guys do so they get aired a lot. Of course it's just the sensationalized parts. If we had to watch the rest of your day, it might be a snoozer. I think it does get people to appreciate the job you do a bit more and, honestly, we all like seeing the bad guys get caught. If it ever feels like these vids are degrading LE for entertainment purposes, just try to remember that many watch them with appreciation for what you do.

I do not post links of videos to provide entertainment for anyone. I post them to show how quickly things can go south. To show people what happens in a matter of seconds and what sort of dangers LEO's face every day. I do not find LEO's being fired upon entertaining at all.

I didn't think otherwise.

An unfortunate side-effect of an otherwise good idea.

LEOs are constantly putting themselves in danger for us. I wish more people knew that.
