I tell ya, this is a severe blow to private enterprise....not to mention discouraging small business operations, this will have a severe economic impact on the area as well. Now all those folks who were patronizing the small business operators are going to have to find another source....such a shame...!!!

Glad to see more tax payer money being used to benefit the government and corporate interests. Good thing uncle sam was here to stop these people from having control over their own body!

Yeah, because we all know that cocaine and meth never affect anyone except those who use them.

Until we shut drugs down before they cross the border that arrest may have netted 50 people and less than probably a kilo of dope, they bust tons of pot and hundreds of kilos of cocaine every week down here, and theres a lot more that gets by

Just sayin.. prohibition creates black markets which spawns a whole lot of other nasty stuff. I'm not saying that *all* drugs should be legalized or that all the problems that stem from illicit trade would go away but i'm fairly confident it would reduce it considerably. Control the supply, bring in some revenue, clean up the streets, gang crime, the war raging in mexico / SW US border. Alcohol and tobacco are probably just as if not more toxic than most illegal drugs, and i'm pretty sure one of those was outlawed for a period time and then there was this mysterious increase in the crime rate. Funny huh?
