Washington (CNN) -- A Virginia man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly attempting to help others he thought were members of al Qaeda in planning multiple bombings at Metrorail stations in the Washington area, the Department of Justice said.
A federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Farooque Ahmed, 34, of Ashburn, Virginia, on Tuesday, the Justice Department said in a statement.

A good candidate for enhanced interrogation to find out just what he knows.

And we are still unable to defend ourselves from extremism in our nation's capitol because the law abiding citizen with a gun is too dangerous.

Sorry that is my frustation coming through.

Your calm-the-herd quote for the day: "At no point was the public in any danger," Gibbs said.

All is well! All is well!

Except for the ongoing plots we don't know about yet, of course.

I know handgun versus bomb is a bit of a mismatch, however, the other activity around here lately is someoen driving around and shooting at military related targets with a rifle in the middle of the night. That is a little closer to a match in firepower.
