She was also an outspoken activist in support of gun control. Good riddance.

Whether friend of foe to the 2A the Eagle Globe and Anchors on her collar tell me she'd earned her right to speak he peace. What have you done?
I havenít heard any of the journalists who volunteered to be waterboarded asking to have their fingernails wrenched out with pliers, or electrodes attached to their genitals.

So swearing an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States like I and so many others have done earns you the right to turn around and deny your military service publicly like it is shameful and speak out against one of the original Amendments to the Bill of Rights vehemently? Tim McVeigh and Lee Harvey also swore that oath, do you agree with what they did? Did they earn that right?

Made Staff Sergeant in less than 30 months, even with a disciplinary action in her file for having a "venereal disease." Strange times.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Big difference in commiting acts of violence against people and exercising your right of voicing your opinions. As far as I an concerned, she was not only born with those rights, but served and earned them. I may not agree with her personal views, but I respect her right to express them. That what America is about.

This isn't about her right, this is about the fact that one less anti-gun activist is gone..... who cares as far as I am concerned, just because you served does not mean you are deserving of respect, else you folks should be idolizing Bradley manning for standing up for what HE believed in. Being a gun control activist and lobbying for gun control, puts many law abiding citizens in danger and she has none of my respect for it.

I don't celebrate the death of anyone, not even thoughs fallen by my hand. Life is more than idealistic views. We can't have it both ways. I don't like people who burn the flag either, but I celebrate their right to do it.
Many people have not been exposed to both sides of an issue, as Im sure as is the case of even some of our family members, but I would not think good riddance on them in death due to their beliefs.

I'm going to disagree with you here. I don't celebrate their right to burn the flag, but I'll accept it.

Sorry, typo on my part. I don't applaud it per se, but I celebrate the right to do it. It actually pisses me off, but that's my emotions. But anyway, I hope people know what I'm trying to say.

I have stronger views than most towards those who wish to change and or repeal/block the rights the founding fathers originally founded this country on.

I have to agree with azchevy on this one. It's strange how some people acted decently in their younger days, just to turn around and become rabid leftists after crossing Hollywood's city limits. Then there are those who stand by their country no matter what is chic at the moment.
