US Army Flight Surgeon Found Guilty of Failure to Deploy to Afghanistan

The LTC was a "birther". He got on the 'birther' website and supported Orly Taitz. This guy set a very fine example for the enlisted troops. The LTC will be a convicted felon, lose his retirement pay and his medical license.

Lakin, who refused to deploy to Afghanistan for what would have been his second tour of duty, believes his inaction is justified because he questions whether President Barack Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States, as the Constitution requires.

He is certainly going to pay a heavy price for the rest of his life. I do agree with him though with regards to the Imposter-In-Chief.

He could have resigned his commission and left the service. Too late now.

I can understand how he feels, I question the validity of that document as well, but he just brought his career to a screeching halt, and is looking at prison time. Not good.
