I just completed week 6 of Basic training actually, so going back in January we will be starting blue phase, then March 10 is graduation from OSUT (one station unit training)
Enjoy the leave, I am flying home this week, and it will be my first Christmas in the States since 2007, I am really excited about it.
Enjoy your time home with friends and family, because you never know when your next chance to be home for the Holidays will be.

Spencer, glad your home and have a Merry Christmas. All I can remember about Fort Knox is the 4 water towers we used to find our way around - also something River Road where all the firing ranges were located. Of course that was in 1952.
Its a shame that youth is wasted on the young.
Enjoy your leave, Spence! This will be the first Christmas since 2000 that myself and all three of my sons will be home for the holiday.

Enjoy your leave and have a fun - but safe - holiday! During 8 years in the Army, I was home for Christmas once. Be well, keep safe, and thanks for your service, soldier!
