As a dog and horse person myself, if she had touched one of my animals, I would have slapped her back.

Sounds like quite the bar if they need a mounted posse to control the crowds.
I get the feeling she was stupid drunk and/or HUA and turned around to find a horse in her face.

Kudos to the cop for restraining him/herself. 'Again - why I don't wear a badge.

Well, she may not have been carrying a gun... But she definitely violated the Rule of 3 Stupids!

Sounds like her reaction was completely normal. I'm sure the horse didn't care about having a 120 lb woman push his face out of hers. It's things like this that make cops look silly.

This. A horse can kill you easily. If the horse took offense the lady would be puree.

Given a little heel, she would have the other end in her face.

"The horse had me pinned up against the wall," Stephanie Six told CNN. "It scared me, so I put my hand up into his face as a reaction."
Be interesting to hear other witnesses to the slap.

Could it be... Just maybe that the horse had her pinned against the wall because she was part of the disturbance the Mounted Police were called in to quell and disrupt?
I dunno... Just sayin'

maybe normal for a drunk person causing problems, the cops don't look silly in these situations, its the drunks acting stupid that look silly
in the linked story she says she wasn't even read her rights........guess what....they don't have to if they are not interrogating you while in custody....boo-hoo-hoo...I have a record now....don't get drunk and act stupid causing the cops to have to step in
she is lucky the horse is trained and didn't react smashing her against the wall or slapping her back with a hoof to the face
