    Wonderful story...very sad, but heart-warming.

    Side note: I had to stop the slideshow while I read. Every few seconds, the slide would change, and the article would form around it, making the sentence I was reading jump to a new location.

    I am a cancer survivor by the grace of God and Shands Cancer Center so stories like this touch me in a special way. I was 63 when I contracted cancer of the throat but when I was going through my treatments I would see children 8 and 10 years old bravely fighting their desease without complaining and with a smile on their faces. It helped keep my spirits up.
